Looking for an outdoor venue for your next event? One that has beautiful views but is also able to accommodate for the chance of not-quite-perfect weather? I recently had the pleasure of photographing an event at the Pavilion at Springfield Golf Club and absolutely LOVED the venue…

This little gem of a location is all tucked away in the Springfield Golf Club so even those who are quite familiar with Anne Springs Close Greenway may not be aware that it exists – right here in Fort Mill. As the thunderstorms rolled in and out on Monday, we had a great opportunity to test out the location’s ability to withstand the wet (always a concern as a photographer!). Since the Pavilion is nestled against the picturesque cart barn at the golf course, it is fully protected on one side, so the wind and rain were not an issue. Sort of an indoor/outdoor experience!

The Pavilion itself can accommodate 150 people, and additional tents can be set up on the lawn for larger gatherings.

And did I mention the beautiful setting?? I couldn’t stop picturing the gorgeous photos I could get with the 18th hole as a backdrop!

And that beautiful stone fire pit ring is another great bonus!

My overall impression was that this would be a great location rain, shine, day… or night!
